Never taken tap, or looking to get back into it?
DDDS is excited to announce our first Intro to Tap Workshop at the studio! This two hour workshop is designed for students age 10-18 who are interested in starting, or re-starting, their tap dance journey! Taught by Mr. Matthew and Ms. Valery, students will review all of the basic tap steps, and leave with a vocabulary packet so they can continue their practice at home! By the end of the workshop, students will feel comfortable joining the junior or senior summer tap classes. Free to all students enrolled in summer dance at DDDS, $40 for others. Email info@diannadurkindance.com to RSVP!

Class of 2026- Allison Cicerchi 👩‍🎓🎓
Allison will be attending Ohio State University to study nursing.
Allison is such a dynamic and impactful performer! Allison was an original Company member when we started the program in 2022! So many students look up to Allison as a role model. We will miss her dearly!

At Dianna Durkin Dance Studio, we see dance competitions as one part of a dancers overall experience- not the whole picture. Competitions give dancers a chance to preform, gain confidence on stage, receive feedback from outside professionals, and share meaningful experiences with their teammates. While awards are exciting, they are not our main focus. We care about consistent training, personal growth, and helping dancers learn how to handle both success and challenges with a positive attitude. Every competition is an opportunity to learn, improve, and enjoy the process, regardless of the outcome!

Mr. Matthew just wants them to have fun and feel good on stage! That’s what it’s all about!
